Komodo Liang Bua Tour 5D/4N

The 5 day Komodo – Rinca – Lian Bua Tour is a wonderful tour of the Komodo National Park and the surrounding areas which can act as the main part of a holiday or trip or a great and memorable activity to do whilst travelling through the area. Usually you will start from your hotel in Bali where you will be transported to the airport and then make the internal flight to the Airport of Labuan Bajo in west Flores of Indonesia. Once you arrive you will meet the guide and then transfer directly to the harbour in order to board a boat where you will eat lunch on the way to the Komodo Island. You will be able to see the marine environments around the islands until you reach the island where you will dine and sleep on the boat. The second day of the 5 day Komodo – Rinca – Lian Bua Tour begins with breakfast aboard then you will trek through the island of Komodo with plenty of time to take in the flora and fauna including all of the deer, cattle, wild boars, the huge giant rats (similar to giant guinea pigs) and of course the Komodo dragon among other reptiles. As well as this there are plenty of different birds to see and almost all of these species cannot be seen in any other part of the world. You will go from here to the pink beach by boat where you will be able to relax as well as enjoying the clear warm water which are great for snorkelling and swimming with so much tropical marine life to see. After this you make the trip to the Rinca Island with a stop at Padar, time permitting. You will sleep and dine aboard this evening. Day 3 begins with an early breakfast before trekking into the dry tropical forest of Rinca and where you will see more incredible animals such as the great Komodo dragons and witness the conservational projects happening. You will see more of the young Komodo dragons in the trees before you go to Pantai Bidadari which is a beautiful tranquil beach perfect for relaxing and snorkelling in the preserved coral. After this you proceed to Ruteng of the Manggarai Regency to enjoy the scenery and check into the Dahlia (or similar). The fourth day of the 5 day Komodo – Rinca – Lian Bua Tour begins with an early hike up the Mount Rankaka where you can enjoy the breathtaking sunrise then back to the hotel for breakfast and on to Liang Bua. Here you will see pre-historic human fossils at three sites in the most holy place of the area where you must remain quiet and follow the guide’s instructions in order to show respect to the local culture. You will then return to Ruteng for lunch and head back to Labuan Bajo. The last day sees a trip to the mirror stone caves before transferring back to Bali or your next location.
